December 31, 2014, UPDATE: Visited the office of Washington Department of Labor and Industries in Spokane.

Yesterday, I went to the WDLI offices in Spokane to visit with Jeff Martin. Jeff was out of the office until after the 5th of January, but I did get to visit with his partner in crime. There are at least 2 Revenue Agents stationed in Spokane. Very nice neighbor. I was politely greeted and a neighborly conversation was allowed to occur. I started by asking what did Jeff find would likely be the next steps of WDLI in pursuing their citations against me. I pointed out that the letters with the citations include several threats, and one letter names my "household" in the threats. Obviously, threatening my mother creates a lot of anger in my heart and mind.
After showing the revenue agent a copy of my flyer, she asked the question, "Are you a licensed contractor?" ...pause... I have to pause here because I do not see the relevancy of the question. Somehow the government employee thinks it is relevant. Somehow the government employee thinks that you need to have a license before you can publish a list of your skills in order to serve your good neighbors. Here we go... now we get into a conversation where I must destroy all the fallacies that have been pumped into this government employee's head. She is going to rattle through all of the government's justifications for issuing me the citations... This is nuts! Evidently, these government employees are not capable of an independent, moral, and just reasoning process. The best they can do is repeat the justifications that have been given to them by their "superiors."
While keeping a pleasant demeanor, I asked her, "Does it say on my flyer that I am a licensed contractor?" I do not need to have a license to do work for my neighbors. According to the constitution, I have a right to publish a list of my skills. She responded that the constitution does not apply to state laws, to which I replied, "I was surprised to find that the Washington State Constitution says that the U.S. Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land. No matter what your government lawyers say, supreme still means supreme! And government employees still take an Oath of Office to support our Supreme Law of the Land." That shut her down on that. She begins to realize that she is not going to convince me, nevertheless that does not stop her from trying.
Do I need to list all of her straw man scenarios designed to put fear in me as I work with good neighbors without having a license from the state to do so? They are all same... designed to make me think that I need the government to protect me from my neighbors and protect my neighbors from me.
1. There are crooked apartment owners who look for unlicensed people to repair their apartments, and then they tell the service provider that they are dissatisfied with the work done and will not pay. They know that the unlicensed repairman cannot go to WDLI to force compensation for work done because he is not licensed. Therefore, I need to be in the system so that I can get WDLI to force the crooked apartment owner to pay me. She said these crooks scour Craigslist looking for people who do not publish their license numbers.
Answer: WOW! Everybody is a criminal in the minds of government employees... And since government employees are good guys, they are the ones who can save you... So, because there are bad apartment owners, I need to be fined $1500.00 for hanging a flyer on a bulletin board??? How the hell does that compute in her mind? "Well, it seems to me that we have civil courts and small claims courts to use to force crooks to pay for services rendered."

2. She gave an example of a woman who needed her septic system repaired. She hired an unlicensed guy to install a new septic system in her backyard. The system they installed did not work and they tore up her yard and she was unable to recoup damages because the guy was not licensed and bonded. WDLI could not help her because she hired an unlicensed contractor. She could not recoup from the bondsman because the contractor was not bonded. She noticed that I am a man of principle and that I would want insurance for my mistakes to protect my customers.
Answer: So, because there are bad service providers out there, I need to be fined $1500.00 for hanging a flyer on a bulletin board? How does that compute in her mind? Well, it seems to me that we have civil courts and small claims courts to use to force crooks to pay for damages created." Once again, everyone is a criminal and government employees are the good guys

What is going on here? Is she trying to put me under the spell she is under? She wants me to participate in her system because her salary depends on it, and she is the good guy. She is blind to the fact that BAD GUYS attempt to extort $1500.00 from people who publish a list of their skills and post them on a bulletin board.

3. Fairness. Here she brings up the downturn in the economy and WDLI started receiving complaints from their licensed contractors who were losing work supposedly because unlicensed contractors were coming from Idaho and Montana and competing for work with lower bids because they were unfairly without the burden of complying with WDLI regulations. WDLI needed to crack down on the "underground economy."
Answer: Good grief! "Underground economy" is just another scare word. It is bad... I reminded her that the Soviet Union had a centralized economy and 25 million people starved to death. If it wasn't for the underground economy, 50 million people might have starved to death. The underground economy is a good thing. People doing things without government interference is a good thing. If licensed contractors are complaining about unfair regulations and unfair competition, then they ought to change the regulations. Let people do what they want to do. If I want to hire my neighbor to help me build a garage, I may choose which ever neighbor I want to choose, and then work together as good neighbors without government employee interference... If he screws me over, I can take him to court. If I screw him over, he can take me to court. Gee, I am not falling under her spell...

We went on to discuss the moral foundations of law, and how government lawyers apply law and interpret law to benefit government. There is no moral foundation for fining me $1500.00 for hanging a flyer on a bulletin board. I told her that one of my goals was to educate government employees, and that I appreciate her willingness to listen to me. I said the pendulum has swung too far and the little guys like her need to be equipped to stand up to their misguided "superiors." 30 years ago, no government employee would have had the audacity to issue $1500.00 fines to my father, and my father would not have put up with it. He would have punched the government employee in the nose. Why do you think I should put up with it?
I succeeded in giving her a lot to think about. However, I have reconsidered my request that all government employees be given training in our state and federal constitutions and the history surrounding those constitutions. It is now obvious that training in constitutional government would be insufficient. From the above, and from all the rest of my experiences with government employees, THEY NEED TO BE TAUGHT HOW TO REASON CORRECTLY ON THE BASIS OF MORAL AND RIGHT CONDUCT TOWARD YOUR NEIGHBOR. They fall for the nonsense coming down from their "superiors." The government employees at the bottom carrying out the orders from above simply shove aside any and all conviction that comes from the fact that their good neighbors would not do to them what their superiors are asking them to do to their good neighbors. These low level minions collecting their government paychecks NEED TRAINING IN MORAL VALUES FOUNDED IN LOVING YOUR NEIGHBOR AND DOING THE RIGHT THING INDEPENDENT OF ALL THE FALSE AND FLIMSY JUSTIFICATIONS CITED BY THEIR SUPERIORS FOR MORE AND EXPANDING GOVERNMENT POWER AND CONTROL. They need to be unbrainwashed... and that would be hard to do since their paychecks, their means of taking care of themselves, depends on them following orders from their superiors.
What a mess. I could not do what they do. I would quit, and my superiors would be glad I quit. They would easily find a low IQ replacement for me. Looks to me like it is going to take some bad shit hitting the fan before America is to return to a moral constitutional republic with liberty and justice for all.
I pray that this blog is educating some people... Geeze... and then you have the whining contractors begging the government to protect them from people who simply want to serve their neighbors. How low will America go? Shame, shame, shame... Where is integrity, dignity, independence, and a desire for honesty, simplicity, and friendly communities? Where? Where are those things? They certainly are not found being taught in government schools... Excuse me. I am done. I need to go throw up now...

EDIT: Oh, while I was throwing up I remembered one other funny thing that the revenue agent said. While talking about needing to be bonded she mention that she herself had hired a contractor to remodel her bathroom. When it was done the lights blinked off and on again randomly. The plumbing in the shower leaked and she has not been able to take a shower in her new bathroom. She said that she was glad she used a licensed contractor because his being bonded and insured will make it right--- then she paused and second to think and asked herself why the remodel wasn't done correctly in the first place. ----then she answered her own question, as if expecting me to be saying what she was saying... "the contractor probably sent over an employee who did not know how to do the work properly..." I looked at her kind of puzzled, but moved on to another point. LOL! I guess I was having an effect. Good reasoning that cannot be argued with must have flustered her a little. Oh well!
It must be said that "We the people should not have to educate and unbrainwash government employees every time we encounter them 'just doing their job.'" They should be able to think and reason in terms of common sense, common decency, and good neighbors prior to getting their government job. They can't just fine people $1500.00 without a conviction by a jury of good neighbors. That is what our constitutions say... Good grief!

Due to the fact that I know history, and also have colorful relatives and ancestors, I was amused with the business card that I picked up at the WDLI office in Spokane. Seems they really do have a position titled "Revenue Agent." In the 1920's my Missouri backwoods grandpa was a child. It was during Prohibition. Grandpa was posted down the road from the moonshine still to watch out for "revenuers." LOL! That cracks me up. I cannot imagine carrying around a business card that says "Revenue Agent." It is also amusing to me that the backwoods Missourians were smarter than today's supposedly educated population. The backwoods moonshiners resisted government interference and extortion, too. I just bring that up because it tickles me. I do know that distilling liquor in improperly constructed stills can poison and and kill people. My great grandpa's still never poisoned or killed anyone. If it did, grandpa said it would have killed him and my great grandpa, and grandma, and aunts, uncles... They drank their own White Lightin', too. LOL! ...Must have been fun outsmarting the revenuers back then. I love adventure!
Anyway, from my perspective and upbringing I would be embarrassed carrying around a business card that says, "Revenue Agent." Perhaps other people just don't know any better... LOL!

December 13, 2014 UPDATE: Conversation with government employee...

On Monday, Dec. 8, I finally talked with Jeff Martin on the phone about the Account Statement mentioned in my previous UPDATE. I introduced myself and informed him that I am looking for government employees who know how to be good neighbors that uphold our state and federal constitutions. Then I gave him the Customer Number which is referenced on the Account Statement. I also reminded him of the messages he left on my answering machine. Jeff was polite and willing to discuss my concerns and answer questions. I asked Jeff why my fines were still in Appeal, since my appeals ended months ago. I asked if Labor  and Industries had put me in suspension in order to avoid resolving my protests according to our constitutions. He could not answer that, but he said that he would research it.
Our conversation lasted a good 15 minutes as I reiterated many of the points that I have made in this blog. The first point being that the constitution protects my right to publish a list of my skills. Jeff responded with the fact that the constitution applies to the federal government and the states are free to execute their own laws. I pointed out that my sons and my father did not serve in war in order that states can fine American citizens $1500.00 for hanging a flier on a bulletin board. Jeff tried to argue that I was demeaning the sacrifices of soldiers by applying their service to my fines, as if my protests were too petty and the fines too miniscual to fall under the sacrifices of life and limb. WOW! He thought that I was demeaning their sacrifice and service to our country! Evidently, Jeff could not see that he had it exactly backwards. Labor and Industries demeans the service of our soldiers by issuing outrageous fines for innocent activity. Hmm... I am beginning to get confirmation of my belief that government employees have strange and backward thinking and reasoning which they use to justify government outside constitutional restraints.
I also pointed out that the Washington State Constitution says that governments exist to protect and maintain individual rights. His job exists to protect and maintain individual rights and the Washington State Constitution says that the U.S. Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land. Then, Jeff took the tact that unfortunately we do not live in a moral society anymore and that he had seen many elderly people damaged by unlicensed contractors. My response, "Oh, Jeff, are you accusing me of being a danger to my neighbors? If you are, then you need to prove that to a jury of my good neighbors before you fine me $1500.00." I said, "Go after the bad guys. You cannot protect the innocent by punishing the innocent."
Jeff had fallen for the belief that government needs to control everything in order to protect everyone. This is how government employees and attorneys justify all that they do. They convince themselves they are the good guys, even to the point of preventing people from painting a window sill for their neighbor for a dollar. Then, Jeff brought up the "gray areas" of the law. I said, "Yes, government attorneys expand the application of law beyond reason and common decency in order to issue fines and collect revenue. If the law is in a 'gray area,' it is best to err on the side of the constitution, rather than err on the side of abusive application of law."
Jeff again lamented that we do not live in a moral society and we need government to protect people. He said that our constitutions are not sufficient to deal with today's society. I brought up John Adam's quote, "This constitution is written for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the governance of any other." I said, "Therefore, when I find my government employees acting immorally, I am going to stand against it. When government employees try to shove a corn cob up my ass, I am going to stand against it!" I told Jeff that they have gotten their hooks into a guy who has been standing up to government employees for 20 years. I mentioned the government schools dumbing down generation after generation and Jeff said that he would not send his children to government schools. Wow! I said that he and I would get along very well as friends without government interference. I said that government needs good people in its employ. I said that most government employees are just trying to do a good job and justify their job in their own minds, --but that I do believe that there is corruption and evil at the top of government. I think the idiots at the top saw a need to raise revenue for their operating budget and they saw stretching their administrative law to include fining the general public on the basis of vague interpretation of law.
I was simply trying to educate a government employee. Jeff could not defeat my arguments. He knows what I am saying is true, but these guys like him need to be shocked out of their "go along with the crowd of government employees" in order to collect a paycheck. I told Jeff that I simply could not do what he does to his neighbors. I could not participate in fining people $1500.00 for innocently hanging a flier on a bulletin board. My conscience would not allow it. I could not look a neighbor in the eye and tell him that he is a bad neighbor who owes the government employees $1500.00 for hanging a flier on a bulletin board. Good grief!!!
The moral to this story is that "government employees and I simply have different beliefs and that we are basing our actions on those differing beliefs." Jeff bases his actions on the belief that government must protect the innocent by fining the innocent. I believe that that is preposterous and delusional. It is a false justification for more government power and control which is outside of constitutional restraints. The truth is, "the government is full of people who see themselves as the saviors needing to protect the population." It is natural for man to want a positive self image, but government employees are not looking correctly at reality. They are public servants, not saviors. They are to maintain individual rights, not punish the innocent in order to save the innocent. Government does not exist to insert itself into every transaction and agreement between individuals. I do not need to have government permission to serve my neighbors. I do not need government approval before I purchase or sell a firearm. I do not need government approval to hang a flier on a bulletin board, or publish a truthful list of my skills.
Government employees like Jeff can be educated. Jeff knows that I would not and could not do to him what he is participating in doing to me. The thing is, Jeff, and the rest of the government employees should have been educated properly in the government schools. But, they were not. They are not equipped to stand on the founding principles of this nation. Fifty years of failing and worsening government schools has bought us to this state of out of control government and bureaucracies. And also brought us to half of the population being dependent on government,--dependent on their neighbors' taxes for welfare and a government employee paycheck.
All I can do is do my best to educate...
Jeff said that he would find out for me what is going to happen to me next. What are my government employees going to do to me next in executing their fines? Jeff said he would call me back, but he has not done so, yet. Perhaps I will need to call him again.

November 27, 2014 UPDATE: I got a big uplift this week...Labor and Industries sent me an Account Statement, LOL!

The turkey is in the smoker! And I need something to do to keep me entertained. So, I'll update this blog because I am still giggling over more silly stuff from government employees. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Last week I received an Account Statement from Washington Department of Labor and Industries. Boy, I was starting to feel lonely and forgotten! So, I eagerly opened the envelope and found this:

The first column is "Debt Type." In that column is "SCS - Contractor Infractions TICKET # NTHRM00462." The second (green) column is "Balance," and it says $1000.00. The third (white) column is Amount in Appeal and it says $1000.00. The fourth (green) column is Total Due Now, and it says $.00. WOW! The account is not due! I have just been told that I do not owe WDLI $1000.00 because it is still disputed in APPEAL.
I wonder why I was sent this... Is it just a computer generated mailing, or did someone at WDLI read my blog where I pointed out that I have not received any correspondence withdrawing the fines?I have to wonder about these things because it is difficult to follow government employees as they go through their administrative procedures. I like to know why they do what they do, but most of the time what they do doesn't make any sense. And neither does this Statement make any sense. My APPEALS have ended and I was determined by Judge Sypolt and Judge Mareno to be owing the $1500.00 in fines. My APPEAL to the Washington State Court of Appeals did not go through because the Washington State Supreme Court denied my Request for Waiver of Fees. And I was not about to give them any more of my money! Hmmm... What is up?
The Account Statement had this written on it: "If you have any questions on the items listed on the statement, please contact Jeff Martin at (509) 324-2599 and provide the following customer number: 481733"
Naturally, I had questions, so I called Jeff and left a message because he was not in his office. Later, I found 2 messages on my answering machine. The first one was a drab statement while he entered the Customer Number into his ccomputer Jeff said that I "owe $1000.00 and $500.00 electrical." He gave me his number so that I could call him back.
The second message on my answering machine wasn't as drab and monotonous. He seemed a little excited to inform me that I do not owe any money to WDLI. Jeff said that the account is in "suspension" because of "protest" and "appeal." His exact words were, "...in suspension due to protest and appeal." Man, what does that mean?
I giggled all day yesterday after I tried to call him back. He is out of the office until Monday, the 1st of October. Is "suspension" where they have decided to put me rather than resolving the issue according to our Supreme Law of the Land? Did the government employees invent a new rule for themselves to follow in order to avoid the black and white Supreme Law of the Land? Just like I have said previously in this blog, the government employees do not want to deal with me anymore. They cannot stand applying their Administrative Procedures according to our Supreme Law of the Land, therefore, they must avoid discussion of the Supreme Law of the Land. Here are my winning points of my defense which these government employees refuse to acknowledge:
1. The Washington State Constitution says, "[governments], are established to protect and maintain individual rights."
2. The Washington State Constitution says, "The Constitution of the United States is the Supreme Law of the Land." That includes the Bill of Rights, my right to publish a list of my skills, and my right to a speedy trial by jury before my liberty and property can be taken from me by government employees.
3. The Washington State Constitution says, "No person shall be deprived of life, liberty, and property without due process of law." Due process of law includes a speedy trial by a jury of good neighbors who do their civic duty to support our Supreme Law of the Land just as our servicemen sacrifice life and limb to defend our constitutions from all enemies foreign and domestic.
4. The Washington State Constitution says, "Justice in all cases shall be administered openly and without unnecessary delay."
I have won my argument with government employees. They are acting outside constitutional restraints and they know that. They have slipped comfortably into gray areas and pushed their outrageous RCWs beyond "Maintaining individual rights." They need the epiphany back to reality, but they would rather put me in "suspension" in order to fail administering justice "openly," and avoid resolving the dispute according to our Supreme Law of the Land.
Until we have an open discussion with the intent of abiding by our state and federal constitutions, EVERYTHING these government employees do will be wrong according to our state and federal constitutions. They know I am right and they know the Oath of Office they took, but no one has the courage and integrity to do the right thing. If they want to convince me that I am a bad neighbor who owes the government employees $1500.00, then they need to get a conviction from a jury of my good neighbors. And all of the good neighbors I know DO expect government employees to abide by our state and federal constitutions.
It amazes me how deep a hole the government employees, including our legislators, have dug for themselves. It is a very deep hole in which government employees have been acting and performing in their "gray areas" well outside constitutional restraints. It has taken over 50 years to incrementally get where we are with out of control government employees, but shining the light of the black and white Supreme Law of the Land on government employees removes the gray areas and exposes their folly.
In the state of Washington is a group of people who are standing up for their God given constitutionally protected right to own and trade guns without third party government interference. The gentleman, Gavin Siem, has a campaign which states "I will not comply;" meaning that We the People are not going to comply with laws that are unconstitutional. There are open protests being organized here in the state of Washington to defy the unconstitutional I594 law which restricts gun purchasing, trading, loaning, and gifting. "I will not comply."
I have amused myself as a result of going through all the things recorded in this blog by thinking about forming a protest group in opposition to Gavin Siem's campaign. I should form a group of government employees to counter Siem's protests. Perhaps, "Government employees against Gavin Siem" would be a good name for an opposition organization. We could form different branches of opposition to Gavin Siem. How about "Judges and lawyers against Gavin Siem," and "Code Enforcers and Revenue Collectors Against Gavin Siem?" These groups of government employees could show up at Gavin Siem's protest events holding signs that say, "I will not comply with our Supreme Law of the Land." Wouldn't that be great? As you can see from my experience, that is exactly what government employees are doing. The government employees want We the People to comply with all their thousands of pages of rules, procedures, statutes, and fees, but the government employees won't comply with our duly ratified state and federal constitutions!
Perhaps I will show up to one of the "I will not comply" events and set up a table across the street from Gavin Siem. I shall have signs saying, "Government employees for 'I will not comply with state and federal constitutions.'" "Judges and lawyers for 'I will not comply with our state and federal constitutions.'" I'll put clipboards on my table and attempt to recruit government employees into joining the opposition against Gavin Siem. Perhaps the government employee pension managers will sign up for "I will not comply with our state and federal constitutions." According to my blog experience, I should be able to collect a lot of signatures and support for my groups in opposition to Gavin Siem!
See how government employee nonsense and disregard of our state and federal constitutions has gone beyond the pale....?
I'll call Jeff back next week and see what WDLI wants to do to resolve my dispute according to our Supreme Law of the Land. Perhaps Jeff Martin knows that there is much more joy found in being a good neighbor who does his civic duty to support our Supreme Law of the Land. I hope so! We need government employees who know how to be good neighbors doing their civic duty to support our state and federal constitutions.

Again, HAPPY THANKSGIVING! ...I'm still giggling at this nonsense!

November 6, 2014, UPDATE: Election over, now what?

I gave it a break for a month before the election. My state representatives would be preoccupied with getting elected, so I didn't bother them. Now, what do I do? Shall I continue to press for a constitutional resolution to my $1500.00 fines for hanging a flier on a private bulletin board? I do have time to be a pest, and it doesn't require a lot of money to educate my state representatives. So, yes. I will press on. I really want our state and federal constitutions upheld. Plus, it is quite amusing to make them squirm.
The only way things will get better is when people demand that they get better. The government employees prefer that their unconstitutional action remain under the radar and uncontested. Screw them! They need to learn how to be good neighbors who do their civic duty to uphold our Supreme Law of the Land. They need to get a grip on reality and stop with the kindergarten con games... And gee whiz! Who would have thunk all of the conning, and bullying, and outright lies would come from our neighbors who are OUR government employees?
This blog is not finished. Idiocy is on display and it needs to called out. Please continue to check back for UPDATES...

October 4, 2014, UPDATE: Real People in the legislature...

On September 23, 2014, I emailed every member of the Washington state legislature. The email was short and simple:

"You should check out the latest UPDATE to my blog. The blog is coming out from under the radar...
>>>>blog url<<<<
Thank you for adhering to your Oath of Office."

Happily, I received a few responses from the legislature. One of them was particularly good.

Hi Russ,

Thank you for your email. I read your blog, and (albeit I am VERY new here) I can understand both sides. Sometimes legislators feel they have their hands tied during session, and can only sneak little amendments past the majority party. Without people like you to tell us, I’m not sure we would have any idea what to change—it’s easy for us to research policy all day and want to overhaul an entire tax system, but the little policy flaws that create a big problem in the lives of Spokane citizens seem to totally escape us without anyone complaining to us. You’re right—there is a disconnect, but I appreciate you pointing out that [Rep/Sen. *******] lives his life to close that gap.

That said, I always welcome comments, complaints, regrets, remorse…anything! I see that you live in D7, but if you’d ever like to discuss policy, I would love to hear from you! Please feel free to call or email me directly anytime.
Take care,

This email from a legislative assistant shows a great deal of information. See? There are a lot of "Real People" out there who want to do the right thing. He/she "understands both sides," but obviously is not firmly convicted upon which side to stand. [He] sees that the $1500.00 in fines imposed are excessive and may violate "freedom of speech," and freedom to work, however, [he] "sees" that the government needs to "protect" the people from "unlicensed" service providers(electricians, contractors). This person is simply a Real Person who wants to do the right thing, but [he] is unable to put the facts together in such a way as to firmly determine what the right thing to do is. [He] has not examined closely what the role of government is, and what consequences will follow when government operates outside the role that is given to it in our state and federal constitutions. How does this person satisfy his desire to do the right thing?
Well, lacking the foundation and facts surrounding the proper role of government, [he] is likely to base his final decision on his emotions, the desire to believe that government exists to "protect" individuals, or APPEAR to protect individuals. [He] will probably overlook the fact that in their effort to protect individuals, the government has HARMED and INJURED an individual by restricting his liberties and fining him $1500.00 without a speedy trial by jury. Emotion based actions most often lead to contradictions, and most people do not like to acknowledge their contradictions and hypocrisy. When they are pointed out, their pride and ego gets very defensive.
In my simple case, a contradiction is also easily pointed out in that electrical repairs (and other work) are performed by unlicensed technicians in apartment home maintenance and even government building maintenance. Why aren't government employees in maintenance positions fined $1500.00 for publishing a list of their skills in their resume`s? And the same for apartment maintenance technicians? The simple answer is, sophomoric government employees and self promoting lawmakers do not think things through. They want to be heroes protecting the public without being scrutinized for their nonsense and unworkable unconstitutional legislation. Pointing out this contradiction upsets their view that government exists to protect the public.
I like to protect people, too. In fact, I am right now trying to protect people from out of control government employees. However, I am not trying to protect people by basing my thoughts and actions on my emotions, rather I am basing my thoughts and actions on truth, liberty, and love your neighbor in such a way as to not contradict myself. I cannot claim to love my neighbors if I am willing to fine some of my neighbors $1500.00 for publishing a truthful list of their skills and posting them on a private bulletin board. However, many politicians and bureaucrats DO contradict themselves and deceive themselves by rationalizing, "For the protection of the greater public, some individuals must necessarily be punished and oppressed by government regulations and penalties. Regardless of constitutional prohibitions..." Boy, doesn't that sound reasonable and wise!!!??? Well, to most Real People, it does sound wise. BUT, that is not what the proper role of good government is. According to our constitutions, good government maintains liberty and justice for all, and it protects We the People from foreign invasion. Good government does not attempt to protect individuals from each other! I suppose we could put a government employee security guard in every house, and even have one to follow each individual around in order for government to protect the public!!!
A civilized society does not need tight management and control by bureaucrats and authoritarians, rather a civilized society functions on its ability to morally, honestly, and wisely govern itself with liberty and justice for all. That is what good neighbors who care about these things (love one another) do!!! I care just as much for the individual as I care for the majority. IT IS THE MISGUIDED SMARTER-THAN-EVERYONE-ELSE bureaucrats and politicians who manipulate emotions to distort common sense and common decency for their own power and prestige. And they suck Real People into going along with their nonsense in la-la land! The above email is from a Real Person who is "very new" to his government job. Will [he] be sucked into the control freak "government is the savior" mentality, or will [he] decide to side with our founding fathers who created a constitutional republic that places limits on government in order to maintain liberty and justice for all?

Sometimes legislators feel they have their hands tied during session, and can only sneak little amendments past the majority party.

Obviously, the legislators are not united on the founding principles espoused by our founding fathers. They do not have a common vision, therefore each one feels helpless to effect positive change in government. This is the predicament of the conservative legislator because the "government is savior" legislators ARE UNITED on their efforts to prove that each of them are "saviors" who deserve the love and respect of We the People. For the "saviors," more government and more taxes will lead to prestige and utopia, and perhaps their name on a government building, too! Lenin, Stalin, ans Hitler had their pictures all over government buildings.  SEE! IT SHOULD BE VERY EASY TO DEFEAT THE "GOVERNMENT IS SAVIOR" CROWD!  But, the conservatives won't stand united on our Supreme Law of the Land, or on liberty and justice for all. Please note that Karl Marx also wanted to use government to create a "workers' paradise." George Washington simply wanted liberty and justice for all...

Without people like you to tell us, I’m not sure we would have any idea what to change—

Most of We the People do not want to deal with government. The less contact with government in their lives, the better. Unfortunately, it takes a pissed off self-educated individual like me to stand up to government abuse. The rest of We the People would prefer to stay out of arguments with government employees. I can't blame them. Arguing with a government employee is the same as arguing with an idiot in an insane asylum--as demonstrated by this blog!

it’s easy for us to research policy all day and want to overhaul an entire tax system

WOW! See??? This person has grand ideas and hope! They WISH they could "overhaul an entire tax system" to get government out of We the Peoples' lives.

but the little policy flaws that create a big problem in the lives of [district] citizens seem to totally escape us without anyone complaining to us.

Yes, We the People must be squeaky wheels if we want to keep our constitutions, liberty, and justice for all. Basically, big government and big money monopolies are strangling We the People while hording all the resources... Independence is quickly turning into dependence and slavery.

You’re right—there is a disconnect

Oh, you mean that the legislator you work for has not had to deal with Washington State Department of Labor and Industries fining him $1500.00 for posting a truthful flier on a private bulletin board? How can that be? Your legislator posts signs up everywhere during election season WITHOUT GETTING FINED BY WDLI! Our constitutions say that we have equal protection under the law. Seems that I should be able to post truthful signs just the same as your legislator does! THERE IS A DISCONNECT THROUGHOUT ALL OF GOVERNMENT! THE IDIOTS WHO ISSUED MY CITATIONS ARE DISCONNECTED FROM OUR SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND, AND ALL OF THE GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH ARE DISCONNECTED FROM OUR SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND, ALTHOUGH MANY MANY OF OUR LOVED ONES HAVE GIVEN LIFE AND LIMB TO PRESERVE OUR CONSTITUTIONS FOR OUR POSTERITY.  Geeze!!! I just can't believe how stupid the people I have been dealing with are... If we had decent government schools churning out wise and responsible Real People (and government employees) who love liberty and justice for all, I would not need to be writing this!
Anyway, I really appreciate this Real Person who had the courtesy to truthfully respond to my email.
Would you believe that I got an email response from one of the "government is savior" legislators? I DID!!! Check it out:

Subject: RE: NC RR: Man fined $1500.00 for looking for a job.

Sorry, I haven't seen any set of facts that show a man being fined any amount
for simply looking for a job. Can you show me an objective source (a court, an
agency, something with a file number or some other way to verify it), that tells
me that some guy is being smacked ONLY for looking for a job? I will be very
surprised if you can. I suspect that if some guy is being punished by a court
or the police or some government agency, it's for something other than just
job-hunting. Given my past experience with right-wing bloggers, I suspect that
you are trying to turn it into a story of government employees harassing poor
innocent job-seekers, because that fits in with the story you always seem to
want us to believe: that government is bad, always inept, wasteful, worthless.
I think the real story is that for the past 30 years, big business has been
"re-educating" folks to believe that line, because it results in an erosion of
public support for state and federal governments. Those are the levels of
government that prevent them from polluting the environment, exploiting their
workers, and such. All those " government regulations" that protect our air and
water, that protect working people from being abused and over-worked and
under-paid by their bosses, all those regulations would be a lot weaker if the
same folks who are protected by them could be re-educated into fearing them.
Those regulations cut into their bottom lines, which is the only thing important
to them. And that's what we hear from big business, the US Chamber of Commerce,
the Heritage Foundation. Seems you buy it, huh?

So don't just tell me your side of this story about this guy who was fined for
looking for a job and nothing else--show me the actual documents, the record,
with the guy's name and phone so I can call and verify, and get to the bottom of
it.

Adam Kline

I am going to dissect this nonsense, but first here is my response to him:

>>>>>>Sen. Kline,
The set of facts you are looking for are included in the Blog. All correspondence from government employees has been uploaded to the blog, including pertinent parts of hearing transcripts. The FINAL ORDER of Administrative Law Judge Mark Kim states:

"It appears to this tribunal that the penalty in the Appellant's case seems extreme in light of the fact that the Appellant was only seeking minor jobs hoping to earn some extra income. Further, it appears to this tribunal that the legislature has written RCW 18.27.200)1) so broadly that it essentially covers almost every activity of work, some of which might not directly impact the public policy purposes of the statute."

Publishing a list of your skills and posting it on a private bulletin board is protected under our Supreme Laws of the Land, both state and federal constitutions. Get a grip!

Now that you have what you asked for, bone up on the truth and do the right thing for We the People whom you have taken an Oath of Office to serve under the constraints of our state and federal constitutions. Thank you very much!
Warm Regards,
Russ Hinds<<<<<<<<

The first thing I noticed in Adam Kline's email was the bullying tone. In his arrogance, he thinks that he is right and everyone else is wrong. When a weak constitutional legislator is confronted by Adam Kline's diatribe, the weak constitutionalist will shut down the debate because he knows that it will not be productive, and if the debate is pressed, the debate will likely escalate into a heated argument. WELL! THAT IS WHAT ADAM KLINE WANTS! Kline wants the discussion to stop, and stop with his views being the dominant views. See? Rather than serve the public, Adam Kline wants to dominate the public and dominate his constitutionalist small government colleagues.
Now look, the only way to defeat an out-of-control idiot like Adam Kline is to INSIST that our Supreme Law of the Land is SUPREME. It is supreme because the liberties and rights protected within our state and federal constitutions have been paid for with the blood and sacrifice of our fellow citizens who serve in the armed forces and elsewhere. And this is obviously where our small government representatives have fallen short. They will not unite and stand on our Supreme Law of the Land to guarantee the right to publish a list of your skills, the right to free association (our right to choose whom you may serve and/or who may perform services for you), and our right to a speedy trial by a jury of our good neighbors before our liberties and property can be taken by government employees. Our weak "conservative" small government representatives won't pull their weapon out of its holster. Our forefathers gave us a huge cannon, our Supreme Law of the Land, to stand behind, but the fraidy cats won't stand together behind it. Been that way for 50 years, while the Adam Klines have been allowed to run amuck to grow government and grow taxes with no end in sight!!!
The first sentence in Adam Kline's email sets forth the "bullying tone:"

Sorry, I haven't seen any set of facts that show a man being fined any amount
for simply looking for a job.

Kline starts out by implying that I may be lying in my title and subject line, "Man fined $1500.00 for looking for a job." Yep! He wants me to get on the defensive with shaky knees. He is in control of this discussion, and he will set forth the "truth" and set me straight by pointing out that I am dishonest in my title, "Man fined $1500.00 for Looking for a Job." LOL! ...Kline buddy! You are dishonest in your inference that a member of We the People would contact your office armed with lies and nonsense. IT IS YOUR OFFICE THAT IS FULL OF LIES AND NONSENSE THAT HAS LED TO GOVERNMENT BEING FAR OUTSIDE ITS CONSTITUTIONAL LIMITATIONS! Russ doesn't lie.

Can you show me an objective source (a court, an agency, something with a file number or some other way to verify it), that tells me that some guy is being smacked ONLY for looking for a job?

Here again, Kline is implying that I am distorting the facts of the case. He wants to narrow it down to the actual reason I was fined. Perhaps he can force me to admit that I posted an untruthful flyer, perhaps committed fraud by claiming to have licenses... Kline is fishing for a wobbly spot in my courageous stand. He wants to intimidate me into admitting error on my part, "What was the real reason you were fined?" IDIOT! I was fined for hanging a flyer in a bulletin board in an effort to find a job! CLEAR AND SIMPLE! AND CLEARLY UNLAWFUL AND UNCONSTITUTIONAL FINES IMPOSED.

I will be very surprised if you can.

Be surprised then! Open your closed mind. Dump the idea that government is always right!

I suspect that if some guy is being punished by a court or the police or some government agency,
it's for something other than just job-hunting.

Yeah buddy, that is what you want to believe! Still on your high horse, huh? Still trying to imply that I am a liar, huh? Good grief! Your "government is god" mentality is failing you. You need to humble yourself and come down to earth, truth, reality, common sense, common decency, and constitutional government. Yeah buddy, your government agenda and your government employees have really overstepped here on this one! And NO! You do not have me shaking in my boots! You are not reducing my statements to mush, rather you are exposing your own superiority complex which clouds your view of reality.

Given my past experience with right-wing bloggers, I suspect that
you are trying to turn it into a story of government employees harassing poor
innocent job-seekers, because that fits in with the story you always seem to
want us to believe: that government is bad, always inept, wasteful, worthless.

Don't you know your history? Don't you know the truth? Government is bad, especially when people like you hold positions in government. People like you seek to justify everything government does while seeking to expand everything government does. When government is clearly shown to be outside of constitutional restraints, you seek to bury the whistle blower, or the citizen standing up for his constitutionally protected God-given rights. Here is some true history:
George Washington said, "Government is like fire, a dangerous servant and a fearful master." And George Washington is proven to be right in the 20th century. In the 20th century, millions and millions of people have been murdered NOT BY FOREIGN INVASION, but by their own government employees. Government employees trapped in the belief that "government is always right" always go along with orders coming from their "smarter-than-everyone-else" leaders. Uneducated ignorant government employees want to keep "just doing my job to feed my family" issuing $1500.00 fines to people who post innocent fliers on private bulletin boards. And you, Adam Kline, want to protect government employees who disregard our Supreme Law of the Land. You want to justify fining a member of We the People $1500.00 for looking for a job and deny him his right to a speedy trial by a jury of his good neighbors. You, Adam Kline are disregarding your own Oath of Office, and you somehow think you can get away with it by your clever use of words and bullying tactics. You are freaking unstable, man! Have you considered counseling? And, perhaps training in civility and constitutional government? I can see foam dribbling from the corners of your mouth as you attempt to put this "right-wing blogger" to shame.

I think the real story is that for the past 30 years, big business has been
"re-educating" folks to believe that line, because it results in an erosion of
public support for state and federal governments.

WOW! What a warped sense of reality you have! "Big business" isn't running the government indoctrination centers, the public schools. Big government has been re-educating the last 3 generations to blindly follow government commands. Public support for state and federal governments is "eroding" because those governments are disregarding our Supreme Law of the Land and expanding beyond reason. In fact, it has expanded so much that bureaucrats and ALL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES are not held accountable to our Supreme Law of the Land. Add to that the fact that corruption has infiltrated the huge bureaucracies. The behemoth of state bureaucracies has become unmanageable by We the People and our elected representatives. GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES LIKE YOURSELF MUST EARN THE RESPECT OF THE PEOPLE YOU ARE SERVING! You don't do that by disregarding your Oath of Office! And you don't earn respect by allowing the bureaucrats and government lawyers to go completely nuts in their misapplication of law.
Yes, I have grievances with the "big business" monopolies who have taken free market competition out of banking and energy production...

Those are the levels of government that prevent them from polluting the environment, exploiting
their workers, and such. All those " government regulations" that protect our air and water, that protect working people from being abused and over-worked and under-paid by their bosses, all
those regulations would be a lot weaker if the same folks who are protected by them could be
re-educated into fearing them.

My, my... What an idealized view of yourself you have. You see your role in government as though you are preventing "polluting the environment, exploiting workers, and such." You are even protecting the "working people from being over-worked and under-paid." You think that the world would turn into hell if it wasn't for your government regulations. THAT IS NOT TRUE! The truth is, many business owners care a great deal about their employees and about our environment. Yet, you and your ilk want to treat all business owners as if they want to exploit their employees and destroy the environment. In your mind, everyone and every business owner is guilty until proven innocent. Good grief!
Well, America functioned a lot better 100 years ago when when there were much fewer regulations. America came through the industrial revolution in flying colors! Bad business practices were dealt with locally and a huge prosperous middle class came into existence in the 1950s. One parent, the father, could provide for the family--purchase a house, a car, and pay the bills, and even send their children to college. BUT IT HAS BEEN THE EXPANDING GOVERNMENT THAT HAS SUCKED THE LIFE OUT OF THE AMERICAN DREAM. It has been government that has tried to be the father and provider of food (food stamps), shelter (free rent), education (free atrocious government schools), and free healthcare (free abortions for the irresponsible promiscuous). Government has EXPLODED taxation (slavery to the state) in order to pay for all of that! Government rewarding irresponsibility and ignorance with welfare, free rent, free atrocious education, and free healthcare has also led to the destruction of the American Dream. Obviously, those stuck in ignorance and poverty have no incentive to improve and educate themselves if government is going to provide for them. Also, I DO NOT WISH TO BE CONTRIBUTING MY TAX DOLLARS TO KEEPING PEOPLE STUCK IN IGNORANCE AND IRRESPONSIBILITY! It horrifies me to think that my tax dollars are contributing to keeping people ignorant and irresponsible. I DO NOT LIVE IN YOUR LA-LA LAND!
Too many people like you are running around trying to be saviors of We the People, saving us from your invented boogie men.  You do not need to save the public from me. I am not a boogie man and I am not a danger to the public. If you think I am a danger to the public, then give me my "speedy trial by jury" and get your conviction before you take my liberties and property from me. Your regulations are unconstitutional, and I am calling you out on that. I have had enough of government nonsense and I will look you in the eye and tell you to get out of my face, off my back, and mind your own business!

Those regulations cut into their bottom lines, which is the only thing important
to them. And that's what we hear from big business, the US Chamber of Commerce,
the Heritage Foundation. Seems you buy it, huh?

Your regulations do cut into their bottom lines. Your regulations cut into my bottom line and restrict my liberty and rights. I would rather deal with a boss who is unfair and obnoxious, than deal with an out of control government employee who is unfair and obnoxious.
Thanks to misguided politicians, America has destroyed itself slowly and incrementally starting with the creation of the income tax 100 years ago. In order to collect an income tax, every individual must report their income, rather than only corporations opening their books. Once you give government the power to scrutinize your income, every other abuse of government follows. Silly government employees like you think that you need to "manage incomes and the economy." The personal income tax opens the door for tracking every transaction between every individual in order to collect the income tax. Our constitutionally protected right to privacy has left the building. The free market economy has left the building. Under misguided people like you, the managed and controlled economy has replaced the free market economy.
Now, I hear people like you complaining about the "underground economy" as if that is something to be feared. The truth is, there is no such thing as an underground economy. There is ONLY the free market economy where people are free to engage in transactions according to their own free will, and the managed economy where people must jump through government hoops and regulations in order to conduct business.
I would like to return to simple. I want to be responsible for myself and family. I want to provide for my own food, rent, education, and healthcare. I just want to work with my neighbors to generate an income without government interference. I don't want you to enlist my neighbor "employer" to be your tax collector who deprives me of part of my income to give it to you and your government buddies. You and your government buddies have been misusing tax dollars for many decades and I don't want to share in your guilt!
"The power to tax is the power to destroy," said Daniel Webster and John Marshall. I do not want to participate with you in destroying our once free and good nation. You and others of your mindset who disregard our constitutions have been destroying this nation for decades, slowly and incrementally. And in some evil cases, deliberately in order to reduce America's libertarian freedom loving influence upon the world. You need an epiphany back to supporting our Supreme Law of the Land and "maintaining individual rights." Local governance governs best. America does not need your centralized "control everything" big government impoverishing its own citizens through taxation, regulation, and centralized management. The USSR already tried that!... That is why we need the Heritage Foundation and the Freedom Foundation.

So don't just tell me your side of this story about this guy who was fined for
looking for a job and nothing else--show me the actual documents, the record,
with the guy's name and phone so I can call and verify, and get to the bottom of
it.

Adam Kline

I did respond to you pointing out that the documents you seek are included in the blog. It is a complete journal of my dealings with people who play child's games trying to convince me that I am a bad neighbor for hanging a flier on a private bulletin board, and who has no constitutionally protected freedom and the right to a speedy trial by jury. You know damn well that I have those rights and freedoms! Therefore, I hope you do "get to the bottom of it" and have that epiphany! Stop trying to bullshit me, and try to get some integrity and honesty for yourself and for the entire legislature!

So, how will the real person in the first email decide? Will [he] fall on my side or Adam Kline's side? I will email this UPDATE to the entire legislature, also. I really want to thank Adam Kline for providing the opportunity. I hope he is thoroughly embarrassed! Perhaps he may come back to his senses instead of leaving reality in the dirt while seeking to live in his own la-la land. Time for that epiphany Adam! Time to examine your Oath of Office in order to competently serve We the People. Do your job and make the bureaucrats, government lawyers, and judges abide by our Supreme Law of the Land. To do that, you must stop pretending that they are abiding by our Supreme Law of the Land. That way, you can stop pretending to be a statesman for We the People, and become a true statesman who adheres to your Oath of Office and holds government employees to account maintaining individual rights just as our state constitution requires!
Get a grip! You lose, and I win because I have the simple truth on my side!

EDIT:
I just went to Adam Kline's Senate web page to see what this guy looked like. He has an interesting and appalling video on his Senate web page. It was interesting to see that the guy has found a clever way to intimidate his colleagues in the state senate. His mild demeanor also seems to give him some influence with his colleagues. But, judging from his clever words, I would say that he is passive aggressive. Unlike his aggressive email to me, Kline seems to capitalize on his clever words.
Quote from the 1:38 point in the video: "As a consequence, people here(in the state senate) think that it is me who is a little, you know, in your face sometimes, ...pause.. It's the district. It is not me... the 37th is a very progressive... very curious district, very upstanding kind of a place. ..."
What I take from those words is this:
Mr. Kline is not responsible for his votes and the bills he sponsors in the state senate. If his colleagues want to restrain his efforts to expand "progressive" government, they are not dealing with Mr. Kline, rather they are dealing with the entire 37th district. Evidently, Mr Kline's district has asked him to ignore his Oath of Office to support our state and federal constitutions. Evidently, Kline has put himself in a Vulcan mind meld with his entire district, and they have bestowed kingship on him to lead them into battle against the rest of the state's districts.  If a conservative senator attempts to restrain Kline's efforts to "progressively" expand state government, then that conservative senator is not confronting Kline and his irresponsible disregard of our Supreme Law of the Land, rather that conservative senator is confronting the entire 37th district. And that entire district wants to increase taxes and expand government. That district wants to increase taxes on the rest of the state AND it wants to determine how to spend the increased tax moneys collected. Is the 37th district that self centered? Or is Kline deluding himself?
Mr. Kline, We the People of the state of Washington have not repealed any part of our state and federal constitutions, and we have not thrown out your Oath of Office to support those constitutions. You have taken it upon yourself to join with the "progressive" caucus and join them in disregarding our state and federal constitutions--which obviously you dishonestly took an Oath of Office to support!  Is the 37th district really backing up your dishonesty? Are they as dishonest as you? Does your district really want to siphon off more money from the rest of Washington's We the People and appoint you to determine how to spend that money? Mr. Kline, I think you are deluded. You really need that epiphany to support "liberty and justice for all, and "government is established to maintain individual rights." Government is not established to trample individual rights... Dude, you need to get educated beyond a sophomore in high school and beyond Karl Marx's delusions. Think man, THINK!
Start out your thinking right here with C.S. Lewis:
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."
Check your conscience Mr. Kline. Respect our individual rights and freedoms as they are protected in our Supreme Law of the Land. I do have a right to publish a list of my skills in an effort to find a job, and I do have a right to a speedy trial by a jury of my good neighbors before government employees can take my liberty and property.... My father and 3 of my sons risked their lives to preserve those rights and liberties by taking an Oath to defend our constitutions from all enemies, foreign and domestic. I cannot bow to your delusions and the delusions of the rest of your "progressive" conspirators.

September 22, 2014, UPDATE: Still learning while still standing...

Some things just give me pause to think. And when I think, I analyze quite thoroughly attempting to figure out what others are thinking, and how their thoughts make them do what they do or say what they say.
First, before I tear into the ineptitude of government employees, I do want to thank all of those who have shown me their support, courtesy, and respect. Some have done their best attempting to resolve and correct the problems I have brought to light in this blog. Even, going so far as to write and support legislation to change the "law." (I put "law" in quotes because it is not really law at all. Any law that is abhorrent to the Constitution is "null and void of law" according to Marbury v. Madison.) Their help and support has been very much appreciated. Proof of that is in the fact that I have been reluctant to publish some of the names while publishing correspondence and dialogue. I am going to continue to refrain from publishing names of people who seem to be supporting my efforts, even as I dissect their correspondence in an effort to understand their position on my issues. I must admit that I have a hard time understanding how some people can contradict themselves and the principles which they claim to hold in conversations and correspondence with me. I must wonder if those contradictions are deliberate or subconsciously seeking to avoid controversy and avoid sticking their neck out.
Throughout my many battles in this life, I have been alone, standing alone while defending myself and common sense and common decency. I am now going to burn my last bridge, if that is how this supporter of mine wants to view this post. This post may prompt this last government employee, who still speaks to me via email, to stop any further communication. I am not desiring to break off communication and friendship, but I cannot control their decisions and actions. If they take offense, it is on them... I am just trying to do my part in educating the public through this blog.  The public needs to know who is holding the reins of government and how they comprehend their duties as legislators, representatives, public servants, etc. I have been standing alone all my life. I don't mind if I am forced to continue doing so...
After I published the September 8, UPDATE, I sent this Email to my last government employed friend who still speaks to me.

Dear --,
Thanks for responding to my last email. I really appreciate it! I have another UPDATE which I have sent to my Reps. I really want some movement and resolution to my issues. Please know that I am not finished pestering. And there are some other things I can do to try and get attention and exposure. What if I hang another flier on a private bulletin board? What are your government employees going to do to me if I do that? Put me in jail? Is that what government employees want to do to their neighbors who demand that their constitutionally protected God given rights be supported and upheld by government employees? What will it take to get these issues resolved correctly according to our Supreme Law of the Land?
Sincerely, and I am sincere!
Russ

Russ, please keep pestering!

Legislatively, nothing will happen until the next session begins on January 14, 2015.  That seems like a long way away, but, in reality, we don't have a lot of time to prepare bills and strategy for the coming session.

I know I have said this before, but I will say it again.  Legislators don't know what it is like on the other side of the curtain unless you tell them.  A corollary to that is that they probably won't be able to divine the solution to the problem unless you find it for them.

Russ, imagine what our situation SHOULD look like.  Then within that broad spectrum between that and present day reality, pick a few key things that could be changed to move us in that direction.  THOSE are the ideas that can be the foundation for bills that can be introduced in the legislature.  These are incremental changes.  We didn't get this way in just one session and it is not realistic to believe we can take it back in one.

Put your thinking cap on, study the regulations you've become a victim of, come up with a couple ideas that could become bills, and get prepared to testify in Olympia in the event any of those bill get legs under them.

Hope this helps.

Warm regards,
 ---

Notice above that this guy is still stuck on writing and passing a bill in the legislature rather than simply abiding by his Oath of Office to support our Supreme Law of the Land. That really bugs me. And then, he wants me to study the regulations and come up with ideas...??? Didn't we elect our reps to do that and to keep government employees and regulations in compliance with our Supreme Law of the Land? Does this guy mean, "If Russ wants to live in a nation that has state and federal constitutions, then Russ needs to study regulations and come up with ideas???" MY F---ING GOODNESS!!! I don't want to waste my time doing that shit! I just want to live in peace unmolested by government employees! I just want my government employees to stay within the constraints placed on them by our constitutions! These idiots(pretended statesmen) have placed themselves on a never-ending goose chase incessantly writing bills, AND HE JUST ASKED ME TO JOIN THEM RATHER THAN SIMPLY SUPPORT AND UPHOLD OUR SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND???!!! Gee... duh... gee... duh... gee... duh... F***!!! I am not getting on their silly goose chase wagon while they pretend to be our statesmen elected to support our state and federal constitutions!!!     Okay... sigh... I guess these guys don't have all the connections in their brains hooked up correctly. When you are elected to a government office, you are given and Oath of Office to support our state and federal constitutions, right? Okay... sigh... now have you got that connection hooked up in your brain? You do? Really? Okay... Now let's cement it so that it doesn't become disconnected in your next sentence or thought. Government employees are given an Oath of Office because many men and women have given life and limb in defense of the liberties and rights which are protected in our state and federal constitutions. Got it? "Life and limb" you know? LIFE AND LIMB! Our state and federal constitutions must be very important if people are willing to give life and limb for their preservation.... RIGHT? DO YOU GET THAT? Is that connection in your brain complete and cemented? Yes? Geeze... I hope so! Now stop f***ing with me and do your damn job! Get your government employees out of my face, off my back, and let We the People live in peace and freedom like our fore fathers intended we live. You don't need to write a f***ing bill in order to support our Supreme Law of the Land. Good grief!
So, I wrote him a nice respectful email back:

----,
Thank you so much for allowing me to continue pestering you. I think you may be the last and only person in Washington state government who is willing to talk to me.
I'd like to talk to you about perspectives because, after reading your email the first time, something stuck out in it which I kept dwelling on for days. From the perspective that we have state and federal constitutions, I don't think you realized what you were saying to me. Here is the first lines of our Washington state constitution:
ARTICLE I
DECLARATION OF RIGHTS

SECTION 1 POLITICAL POWER. All political power is inherent in the people, and governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, and are established to protect and maintain individual rights.

"""GOVERNMENTS ARE ESTABLISHED TO PROTECT AND MAINTAIN INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS."""

----, from your email, my first impression was that you wanted me to do your job for you. (Meaning you want me to protect and maintain individual rights rather than my representatives protecting and maintaining individual rights.)

----, from my perspective, I have been working for 2 years and 11 months to gather enough evidence, information, and simple clarity in my case so that my reps can take the ball from me and do their job as defined in our state constitution, MAINTAIN INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS. That is what we elect representatives to do. And we have a government divided into three branches in order that if one branch fails in its mission, the other branch(s) are there to check and balance. If the legislature, in a time of panic and urgency, passes unconstitutional legislation, the governor is there to veto it, and the courts are there to declare it unconstitutional. See? This can be applied vice versa as well. If the executive branch is out of line with the constitution, the legislators are there to bring it back into compliance. This is why we have constitutions to protect and maintain individual rights. BUT, WE DON'T HAVE REPS WHO ARE WILLING TO BRING OUR SUPREME LAWS OF THE LAND TO THE FLOOR OF THE LEGISLATURE. Perhaps they don't know how, or they don't have the gonads...

So, yes, I would love to work with my reps on a serious effort to bring government employees back under our state and federal constitutions. Whether it be by introducing new legislation, testifying before the legislature, or by educating the public and the government employees. However, as you can see from my defense over the span of 3 years, government employees and representatives really don't want little ol' Russ to educate them. I don't have the credentials, the platform, or the common respect of the government employees and representatives. However, our representatives (YOU) are given the credentials by being elected, and given the platform in the office they hold, and given the common respect by being allowed to say their piece on the floor of the legislature and through other means of taxpayer provided communications, resources, and connections.

See? From my perspective, what more can I do? It feels like I am trying to push wet noodles across a table while the noodles bombard me with excuses and delay, and delay... Obviously, if no one has the courage to stand up for our Supreme Laws of the Land in our government bodies, we won't have a Supreme Law of the Land anymore.

So. okay. I will propose some legislation and write an introductory speech for the floor of the legislature and write a concluding summary to the proposed legislation. My next e-mail will be that effort.

Please note that I have delivered a thorough ass whoopin to the government employees involved in my case. They know it, and the last thing they want is for people and legislators to pick up my ball and keep running it into complete victory and exposure. They are just people like you and I and they cannot argue with our civic duty to support and uphold our constitutions because much blood and treasure has been given in defense of our liberty and rights protected in those constitutions. All they can do is play their childish games trying to discourage, con, and intimidate me while hoping the whole ridiculous episode remains under the radar. If you and others would contact the players directly and ask the right questions with confidence and courage, you would have them shaking in their boots. Why do we have constitutions if no one is willing to use them and abide by them? However, if some of the players are confident that they can divert you, distract you, and con you, then they will continue their efforts to shut down discussion.

Which brings me back to this; these people and people like them have been successful for the last 50 years in shutting down discussion of our constitutions and the proper role of government. This is why it has taken so long for them to bring state and federal governments to the out-of-control situation we are currently in. While conservative constitutional reps like yourself have been seeking "incremental changes" the liberals have been scoring touchdown after touchdown with THEIR "incremental changes." We do have a defense and it is in the fact that Americans have given life and limb for the liberty and rights protected in our Supreme Laws of the Land. Government has expanded WAY TOO FAR already. It is time for a correction. I am sure ----- understands what I am saying as he is a veteran who took the oath defend our constitutions from all enemies foreign and domestic.

Once again, thanks for letting me pester you. And please run this email past -----. I just want to encourage, inspire, and be part of the solution...

Sincerely,
Russ Hinds.

See? Wasn't that a nice letter? Well, see if you can decipher what I got in response:

Russ,

No, I don’t want you to do my job for me, or ------'s.  Just do yours.  How’s that?

It was often acknowledged by the Founders that unless the people are knowledgeable of their rights under God and know the content of the Constitution and Declaration, that freedom cannot be maintained.  And that is precisely what has happened in the United States of America.  In our current state of bureaucratic tyranny, most folks are walking around believing they are free!  Yet, and I quote, “All political power is inherent in the people…”.Where the power resides, so does the responsibility.  The government is the servant, not the master.

Like you,  statesmen like -so and so- are in a small minority because the make-up of the legislature is a reflection of the people.  And yes, we have found many of the representatives to be equally as ill-informed as their constituents.

So you have a job in addition to your regular “citizen-job” of insisting upon government staying within the bounds of the state and federal constitutions and demanding unrestricted rights, under God, as outlined in the Constitution.  You have assumed a position of rare insight into this tyranny and that insight must be shared with others.  And I will state again that any peaceful, constitutional remedy will be relatively slow and incremental.

At a private meeting recently, -------- noted that he sees our gains over the last five years as astounding.  Yes,gains.  He travels all over the country speaking.  He has spoken to folks like us in the USA over 300 times in the last two years.  He has a unique perspective as a citizen of ---------who is sounding a warning to the people of America.  We are witnessing a race between the keepers, who wish to slam the door on us, and the people who are beginning to rise up, educate themselves, and take action.

Again,  Rep/Sen. ----- has pushed the envelope in Olympia far beyond what any legislator has in the last thirty years.  He needs more of the people behind his efforts.  You know, as conservatives we find candidates, work hard to get them elected, and when they lose we go home.  And if they win we go home.  Therein lies the problem.  When they say “We are behind you, Mr. Representative.”  Yes.  W-a-a-ay behind him.

Your job is not a big one, Russ, but it is a very important one.  You have the ability to articulate both the problem and the solution.

You don’t have to go knocking on doors to do that; just be alert to opportunities to share your predicament and encourage others to become fully informed citizens.

Oh, and by the way, government employees, even if they agree with you in principle, have a vested interest in the status quo.  That’s a tough audience that will produce little fruit.

You are part of a big movement, Russ.  Thank you for your contribution.

Now let me decipher the above email:
No, I don’t want you to do my job for me, or -----’s.  Just do yours.  How’s that?

Okay, that is pretty easily said, but difficult to prove by your other statements and lack of action.

It was often acknowledged by the Founders that unless the people are knowledgeable of their rights under God and know the content of the Constitution and Declaration, that freedom cannot be maintained.

Not quite right... It was acknowledged by the founders that unless the people maintain wisdom and responsibility based on morality and religion, then unscrupulous men will gain control of government and pervert the constitutions and enslave We the People.  We the People do know our rights under God and preserved in our constitutions. It is the representatives who deceive the public in their election campaigns promising to restrain government, and then after they are elected, they do not restrain government. IT HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR OVER 50 YEARS! Why won't our representatives do what they promise to do in their campaigns and in their Oath of Office? We the people have been trying to vote in competent statesmen, but once they are elected they freeze up with fear and get wobbly legs and go along with the out of control bureaucracies and their pack of deceitful government paid lawyers, etc. Your next sentence supports what I just said.

In our current state of bureaucratic tyranny,

See? The inmates are running the asylum....

most folks are walking around believing they are free!

Yes, we are free. We have constitutions protecting our rights and freedoms... but we don't have statesmen protecting our constitutions from the bureaucrats and lawyers who pervert the constitutions. By the way, most folks are like me. They simply want to be left alone under a constitutional government. It is a minority of vocal idiots who have sought to misuse government authority for their own self worth, prestige, and delusions. So, when people like you (conservatives who say they support our constitutions) are elected to office, you let the idiots run all over you and you try to play their game by their rules... Your next paragraph supports what I just said above:

And yes, we have found many of the representatives to be equally as ill-informed as their constituents.

Yes, I know. I just said that. Back to this sentence:

Yet, and I quote, “All political power is inherent in the people…”.Where the power resides, so does the responsibility.  The government is the servant, not the master.

Yes, all political power is rooted in the People's God given power, derived from God, and not delegated to government by God. Government has no god given rights. The rights and authority given to government comes from the people AND WE THE PEOPLE WROTE CONSTITUTIONS TO ENUMERATE AND LIMIT THE POWER AND AUTHORITY OF GOVERNMENT! But government employees and reps are not abiding by our Supreme Law of the Land... We the people are abiding by the Supreme Law of the Land, but government employees are not. How do We the People fix that? Huh? ...How? WE ELECT PEOPLE WHO PROMISE TO SUPPORT OUR CONSTITUTIONS TO OFFICE! ...That is how we fix it. BUT WHEN OUR REPS repeatedly and repeatedly ACT DISHONESTLY PREFERRING TO DECEIVE THEMSELVES BY BREAKING THEIR OATH OF OFFICE AFTER WE ELECT THEM, then what can We the People Do? When government employees pretend to be acting within the constraints of the Supreme Law of the Land while they clearly are not...what kind of delusion grips them? How do they do that? I'll tell you how they do that? They do it by HATING PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO BRING UP OUR SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND!!! We used to have laws against treason, the trashing and disregard of our Supreme Law of the Land, but we the people do not have reps, jurists, and attorneys who will hold government employees accountable to their Oath of Office. It is la-la land in the world of government! Nobody has righteous courage and convictions in government! All that government employees have is deception and denial of reality. They even attempt to cast spells on We the People by using deception and propaganda and phony justifications for expanding government. Government employees attempt to cast spells on We the People to blind us and discourage us. Here is proof:

"Naked castings into the constitutional sea do not warrant judicial consideration or discussion"

See? The AAG attempted to cast a spell on me by using that nonsense! Good grief! It didn't work on me, but it did work on the Administrative Law Judge. The government employee fell for it, but We the people didn't. I didn't! As I said in my previous UPDATE, the government employees have spun a web of deceit and trapped themselves in it. They are the ones who need the epiphany back to reality under our constitutions. We the people are in reality! WE THE PEOPLE HAVE NOT VOTED TO THROW AWAY OUR CONSTITUTIONS, BUT OUR GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES HAVE THROWN IT AWAY ALREADY!!!

Now, you said, "Where the power resides, so does the responsibility." DON'T BLAME WE THE PEOPLE! Blame those who have usurped the power of We the People by disregarding our constitutions. Geeze! Why do I need to write this stuff? Are you under a spell? Once again, it has not been We the People who have written and passed bill after bill after bill that flies in the face of our constitutions. It has been the dishonest representatives who have ignored their Oath of Office and passed bill after bill after bill that grows government miles and miles outside the powers granted to it by We the People. I am starting to wonder if you are one of the dishonest politicians.

"The government is the servant, not the master."
Does the "servant" serve We the People well by disregarding our state and federal constitutions? WHEN ARE THE PEOPLE WE ELECT TO GOVERNMENT OFFICE GOING TO ABIDE BY THEIR OATH OF OFFICE AND COME OUT OF DELUDING THEMSELVES PRETENDING TO BE ABIDING BY OUR CONSTITUTIONS? Please have that epiphany. Please wake up and come out from under the spell cast on your mind. Please open your mind's eye to see the simple truth, and help your associates in government to do the same. We the People are not at fault. And that is proven by the fact that We the People have not repealed our constitutions, our simple and clear contract with government employees.  Rather, government employees have ignored our constitutions... deluded themselves, and trapped themselves in their own la-la land.

So you have a job in addition to your regular “citizen-job” of insisting upon government staying within the bounds of the state and federal constitutions and demanding unrestricted rights, under God, as outlined in the Constitution.  You have assumed a position of rare insight into this tyranny and that insight must be shared with others.

Yep! I am doing that right now!

And I will state again that any peaceful, constitutional remedy will be relatively slow and incremental.

And it will be even slower if you continue to ignore your Oath of Office which you made to support our state and federal constitutions. IDIOT! ...Pretending to be doing all that can be done to preserve and defend our Supreme Law of the Land. Why do you hamstring yourself by pretending you need a majority to stand with you in support of your Oath of Office? Go get some friends to stand with you if you need them. I'll stand with you, but you gotta get off your ass! It is like "The Emperor Has No Clothes." When the child said it, it was not "incremental." It was huge and almost instantaneous. Just get the gonads to say the simple truth. Just like I am doing!

The rest of the letter does not need to be commented on.
So, what will I do next? Shall I go hang up another flier and see what happens? Do I write a speech and propose some legislation? Would they take me serious if I did propose legislation? Has this friend unfriended me?
Geeze... why do I have to write this stuff? It is like pushing wet noodles!
